It felt like staying with family, and I'd happily come back. The whole family was around to answer questions about things to see in Reykjavik. They carried my luggage into the guesthouse and up to my room. There were breakfast options as well as a few little bites at lunch. My comfortable room had its own shower and bathroom, and there was also an option for a larger private shower and restroom.

We stayed at the end of September and thought it was good value, with a lovely location. The rooms looked nice and felt homey. Elza, the owner, was really nice to us, and Roko, who works there, gave us useful information about Reykjavik. They also have a very sweet dog named Medo. We'd definitely come back!

The hosts were kind and friendly, always available, and made the place feel like home. It was very clean and quiet, right in the center of Reykjavik. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting, and had an amazing stay. ❤️

The home's hospitable, with lovely Moderne architectural details. It was comfortable and felt like home, and we especially fell for Oskar, a member of the family this house was originally built for. We stayed in early September and would gladly return. It's close to many places we wanted to visit and within walking distance of our Golden Circle Tour pickup spot.

The owner and housekeeper were so friendly, and I even got to spend time with their dog in the backyard. I’m 50 and was traveling alone, hoping to find somewhere with a hostel feel. This place turned out to be a real find: the price worked for me, the accommodation was just right, and it’s close to all the action. I’d happily recommend it.
