Kringlan shopping mall is about a 5-minute walk away, and the city center is around 20 minutes on foot. There’s parking in front. The room was a good size, clean, and had coffee and tea facilities. It’s basically a great hotel room without the rest of a hotel around it. You can use the shared room with kitchen facilities too, and the land lady is very nice. What’s not to like?

The room smelled really bad because of the drain, and there was no wifi aviable. The neighbours were really unfriendly. On the plus side, the check-in system is great, there’s a shared kitchen that’s handy for campers, and you can park for free.

It’s a 30-40 min walk downtown, with a local swimming pool nearby. Bonus grocery store and the mall are close too. WiFi was Strong in room #2, and the hot water and beds were comfortable. The fridge could be a bit bigger.

The woman was nice, and it was a decent place in an okay area. I stayed here when I first moved to Iceland. It wasn’t excellent, but I had a nice stay overall and felt it was worth the money.

A great little guest house for a short stay, with everything you need. Having access to a shared kitchen is a nice touch.
