The owner is very friendly, and the room matches its description. It's in a quiet area, and the bathroom is disability-friendly, with grab rails by the shower and toilet. The place also comes stocked with dishes and cutlery, plus a microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, tea, coffee, whitener, and sugar. A very nice place.

The studio has the basics covered, with beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The town is peaceful and charming if you like slowing down and unplugging, though the Wi-Fi is surprisingly fast. Getting in and out means a 45-minute drive along mountain roads each way, which was the biggest drawback for me. There isn't much to see beyond the beautiful church. Cruise ships stop by occasionally, and most shops close around 6 pm, apart from a cozy pizza place run by very friendly people. My daughter, though, thought this Airbnb was the best place we stayed in Iceland.

The bathroom was comfortable and the kitchen very basic, but the studio felt far too cramped for four people. There was barely room to set our four suitcases on the floor, and the price seemed high for what was provided.
