We stayed in room 2 and really liked it. It was warm and very clean, with everything we needed and even a mini kitchen. The view was lovely, and we enjoyed having animals nearby. Amazing guest house!

We had feathered friends there to greet us and furry ones to see us off. The newly renovated apartment was spacious and had its own bathroom and kitchenette, with everything we needed to feel comfortable. The bathroom was big, with a huge, excellent shower, and the beds were cozy. It’s right off the ring road, so easy to reach, and self check-in and check-out were straightforward. Best of all, the seaside views were amazing. Great stay, definitely recommended.

The bed was really comfortable, and the rooms were nice and clean. In the kitchen there was a refrigerator, a hot plate and a hot water pitcher. The shower had great pressure, though the water didn't get very hot.

Breakfast isn't provided anymore. You have to bring your own food or drive 30 minutes south to Hofn. There's nothing to the north.

The host was lovely and did what she could to help us settle in, even with her limited English. The rooms are basic, but they have all the essentials, including a working kitchen. They're also large by Icelandic standards, with great mountain views. This was one of the best places we stayed during our 10-day trip in Iceland. It's just off Route 1, but stock up before you check in since the nearest town is about 25 KM away.
