We were lucky enough to catch a stunning aurora display during our stay. The views were breathtaking, the rooms spotless, and the bedding was high quality. We also had a great shower, lovely toiletries, and an outstanding breakfast packed with delicious homemade treats. I'd highly recommend this place!

Across our 25 days in Iceland, Hrafnavellir Guesthouse gave us our favorite meal, and it was also the lowest-cost meal of the trip. Don't miss dinner! The mushroom soup was out-of-this-world delicious, and I'll be begging for the recipe. She has a lovely bar and will make you a cocktail. Breakfast was homemade too, including an insane spice bread we wanted to eat by the whole loaf. Everything was delicious. Hrafnavellir was among our top three stays for the room, and the number one meal of all 25 days. Thank you!

The hosts were extremely friendly, and breakfast is well worth having. It's a beautiful place with a great view, and the rooms have a very modern style of furnishings.

The family running the place were friendly, and she took extra time to suggest places to eat on the east side and in the fjord areas. Her tips were spot on. These cabins, as I call them, are spacious and clean, with comfy beds. We stayed three nights and saw everything from 70 mph winds to warm, calm sunshine. Breakfast had homemade breads and jams, boiled eggs, coffee, juices, and light, fluffy yogurt. It's a great base for exploring the east side of Iceland.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with a European continental spread and Icelandic favorites. The carrot hummus was ridiculously good. I was so eager to eat that I forgot to take photos. I only wish we'd stayed longer. Hrafnavellir Guest House was perfectly located off the Ring Road. The room quality, cleanliness, and view were second to none, and our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. An amazing place to stay.
