Arctic Wind

We were just passing through and stayed one night. The small room was comfortable and very clean, and the shared kitchen was spotless and had everything we needed. The area is industrial and not scenic, though it is in the city, and a car helps if you want more restaurant choices. We were disappointed to learn the hot tub cost an extra 25 Euros to use. That feels like it should be included. Also, the clear plastic bathroom door could use a privacy screen.

The service deserves 10 stars. We had an unexpected stay, and the gentleman was incredibly helpful. We ended up in a fantastic family room with comfortable beds. There was a small kitchen too, though we didn't use it, and it was easy to access. Highly recommend this place.

We needed a place before an early flight, and this worked well for the night. The surrounding area looked industrial, but it was quiet. The room and bathroom were on the small side, though clean and comfortable. Good value compared with other places, and close to the airport.

The host was super friendly, and the location made it easy to get to Grindavik, the blue lagoon, and the volcano hikes. Everything was immaculately clean, and the rooms are arranged well for a holiday stay. There's a shared kitchen with all the gear you'd need to prepare meals.
