Suites in Sicily

We had a really good stay and will definitely come back. The host was attentive and always available when we needed something. The apartment is in a period building on Corso Aci Reale, and is comfortable for two, with room for two more on the sofa bed. It's nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed and a washing machine. The kitchen is very small, but has a fast induction stove and a microwave. The mini-fridge is fine if you don't plan to cook much.

Pietro was very kind, and we were given a warm welcome. The apartment is bright, spacious, and well furnished, with a comfortable bed in a great central location. The kitchen is tiny, really only practical for coffee or a little more, and barely fits one person. The fridge is about the size of a hotel mini-fridge. We also had an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom now and then. We thought the heavy rain might have caused it at first, but it continued on the following days when the weather was fine.

This was the worst of the thousands of B&Bs I've stayed in. There was no welcome at all, not even water or a packet of sugar. The shower was in terrible condition, with cold water and a lot of yellow water.

This is my favorite place in Acireale. The owner is kind and helpful, and the courtyard parking is very convenient. Some apartments have balconies facing the main street, where the carts pass.
