Sant'Anna Bed & Breakfast

I didn’t feel welcome, and wouldn’t come back for that reason. The owner seemed business-minded rather than warm, and she arrived later than the check-in time, so we had to wait. She also wanted extra payment for coffee, which I didn’t like. The room was clean and had a nice balcony, and breakfast was decent. In the end, it felt like staying in a hotel room.

The owner was so, so nice, and we enjoyed the whole stay. We were there for two nights at the beginning of November. The room was lovely, the bed very comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. We’d definitely stay again.

Nicola's pizzeria is only a few meters away, and the food there is excellent. San Lazzaro is a few minutes away by car, and there’s also a bus stop along the road, so the location is fairly central. The B&B feels like home, and Luigina is friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spotless and have en-suite bathrooms. I gave the location three stars because the property is on a bend on a fairly steep slope, and our car barely fit. I doubt a larger SUV would fit. Recommended. ☀️

We chose Sant'Anna B&B for its proximity to the starting point of the "Path of the Gods," and spent two nights there. The place is peaceful, with private parking and a large outdoor area with tables and umbrellas. There’s also a lovely pergola where you can enjoy the cool air, and the views are wide open. The room had a balcony, tasteful furnishings, and a wall-mounted TV. Its private bathroom was impeccably clean. Breakfast was excellent, with cakes, donuts, croissants, and plenty more. Above all, Luigia looked after every detail herself. She greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel at home right away. Her kindness and friendliness are a fine example for her colleagues. We had a wonderful stay and hope there’ll be a room free at her place if we return to the area.
