We were told there was no room for us, which I could have accepted, but the way it was said felt very unfriendly. When I then asked to use the toilet and was refused, it left me feeling like a second-class person. We didn't get to see the place itself. I'd suggest treating future customers, who pay your bills, with more kindness.

The main drawback is that there aren't many toilets for campers. Otherwise, this small farm camping and cottage site works for tents, caravans, and campervans, with water, waste disposal, and 16 amp electricity on the campervan side. The clean, tidy toilets are well kept, and in season you can buy vegetables grown on the farm. The sea and a clean, free sandy beach are a 500 metre walk away, with a small bar and snack restaurant there. It gets very busy in season.

Update for 2023: after spending many years here, we changed places and won't come back. The owners have a long list of people who booked ahead, and now act as if they're the best around. They came across as rude and arrogant, and there was less care with cleaning and customers in general. It's a shame, because this used to be one of the best places for a holiday in Follonica. Bye bye, you'd better learn to respect your customers.
