I booked the room shown on the website, but when we arrived on 12/11/25 it wasn't available because of plumbing problems. The owner put us in a run-down family room that looked like it was from the 1970s and thought it was just as good as the one we'd selected. The breakfast room also had plumbing issues, so there was no breakfast, and we were reimbursed 5 euros per person. I booked on 22/10, and the owner knew about these problems but still advertised the place without mentioning them. If I'd known what room we'd get, I wouldn't have booked. He charged us the city tax on arrival, though it had already been charged when I booked. I checked the bill and got the money back the next day. A nearby cockerel woke us at 4am, too. The whole stay was a disappointment. My son also left his Alton Towers logo sweatshirt in the bedroom, Team member 2025. Scarefest. I took a picture of the bed with the sweatshirt on it, so I know we left it there. The owner never contacted us about it. If you see him wearing it, you'll know it isn't his. Avoid this place.

Enzo showed me around himself as soon as I got there. The grounds are lush and looked after, and I could park inside behind a locked gate. My room was in good condition, clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The best part might have been the pastries Enzo’s wife makes. Her chocolate croissant was the best I’ve had in Italy! It’s a lovely little getaway, just minutes from the Valley of the Temples, and a much nicer place to stay than busy Agrigento central. Bravo!

A really good base if you have a car: the city center is the right distance away, there’s a large parking lot in front of the house, and the famous temples are only a 4-minute drive. The rooms are spacious and have private terraces. Breakfast was excellent, served in a nice atmosphere. The owner was friendly and hospitable, and didn’t mind that problems delayed our arrival until 1 hour after the last check-in time.

Enzo was friendly and super helpful, and the rooms are clearly well looked after. The location was very convenient, and breakfast had a good selection and good coffee. We had a lovely stay.

We stayed here 7 years ago, and it’s lovely to remember it. GPS didn’t make it easy to find, but once we opened the gate we were greeted by a very green garden. The room was large and clean, and we enjoyed dinner on site. Lovely garden, nice room, and a good Italian breakfast. Thanks for the memories.
