B&B A Casa Di Paolo

Even though we stayed only one night with Mr. Paolo and Mrs. Barbara, we felt at home right away and they made us feel cared for. The B&B is spacious, welcoming and clean, right in the town center and close to several beaches, rocky ones on the Adriatic and sandy ones on the Ionian. Breakfast was generous, with lots of variety. The hostess's ring cake and those fantastic Salento pasticciotti were delicious. A delight. Highly recommended.

You can get to the prettiest parts of Salento quickly from this well-situated place. It's a clean, welcoming little haven, and the price felt very fair for what we got. Paolo and Barbara were attentive and happy to help with requests, offering useful suggestions and solutions. Breakfast is served in the garden. Paolo sets out a colorful table with the scents of Salento, and Barbara's quick hands turn out lovely jams, little biscuits and tarts. Highly recommended.

Paolo and Barbara have turned a private home into a distinctive place to stay, with an elegant antique feel that's also practical and, above all, clean. Barbara's breakfast was a treat: each day brought something different, with local products, homemade cakes and jams, and care in the table setting and service. I felt comfortable and welcomed, and the warmth came with real professionalism. Alessano is a small village that works well as a base for reaching all sorts of places in this beautiful area. The people running the town's businesses also seemed very professional and attentive to tourists. Well done.

Barbara was wonderful. Along with coffee, fresh milk, pasticciotti and eggs, breakfast included a freshly baked tart with their own lemon marmalade. As a parting gift, she gave us pasticciotyi and homemade sweets in an elegant take-away box. Divine, what a treat. The property has been renovated and is clean and welcoming, and the hosts were incredibly kind and ready to answer questions. Thank you, Barbara.
