Fabrizio was the highlight. He was kind and extremely helpful from the beginning, arranging bookings for places to visit and typical restaurants, sorting out our airport transfers, and even booking a rental car for us. We were about a 10-minute walk from the center, and renting bikes made it easy to get to some of the loveliest beaches along the seafront. The room was clean, cozy, and air conditioned. We didn’t have breakfast, but the cleaning lady left each of us a coffee pod every day, which was a nice extra and not something she had to do. A really positive stay, seeing is believing!

We slept peacefully in a quiet residential area, and the room was comfortable with the air conditioning on. The bed was good, though unfortunately the pillows weren’t. There was free Wi-Fi, and the bathroom had natural light, but it was small. There was only one boiler for the other rooms too, so the hot water ran out early, and our shower was cold. “Breakfast” had been left on the table in the room, so we chose to spend the money on breakfast at the port in the sun instead. The accommodation felt quite lacking for the price. Payment was cash only, though at least a receipt was included. The owner helped us check in late at night and seemed knowledgeable when suggesting places to visit. There was no TV. I’ve stayed in various places in Alghero before and this was my first bad experience, so I’d recommend looking elsewhere.

The room was plain, with a comfortable bed and a tiny bathroom. There was no TV, which I found really disappointing, though the two juices with water and snacks were a plus. It took 10 minutes for hot water to come through, and the heat pump had frozen before we left. Payment was cash only. The property manager seemed unprepared for the job, and his attitude toward paying guests was rude and unfriendly. The room didn’t fully provide the amenities it claimed to offer, so this was a very negative stay. I’ve visited Alghero before without a bad experience until this one.

It’s about a 12-13 minute walk from Alghero’s historic center. Our room and bathroom were spacious and well maintained, and the value for money was excellent. The owner was kind and helpful, with useful information. Recommended.
