Veronica was a kind host and left a good selection of food, including cakes, fruit and cookies, plus drinks for our stay. You can see the sea from the balcony, which is lovely with morning coffee. It’s a walk to the old city, but the route follows the beachfront and marina promenade. The beach, train station, and Echnos restaurant are nearby too, and everyone there was so friendly. It’s a sweet little family homestay in a walk-up building, on the second or third floor depending on where you’re from.

I stayed for nine nights and found the room very poor. It was around 40 degrees inside, almost like an oven, and there was only one fan. The Wi-Fi had no signal, and there were plenty of other things wrong too. Breakfast was poor quality: water, juice, milk, yogurt, bread, and coffee. The owner had said cleaning would happen every two days, but it was done only once in nine days. He seemed attentive until he got his money. Four yogurts and about a liter of milk for nine days also felt like a rip-off.

It was handy for both the train station and the beach, and having breakfast in the room meant we could get up whenever we liked. One thing they should change is the amount of plastic plates and cups they use.
