8/10
The owner was very nice, and the brand-new rooms were kept spotless. It’s a cozy place close to Bolzano, right by the road, but the double-glazed windows and fully opaque curtains kept things quiet and dark, even for light sleepers. Sadly, there’s no breakfast option. If you need something quick, there are vending machines with snacks and drinks.

There was no phone in the room to contact service, and after a few minutes of collecting the keys, no one was at reception. The building had plenty of air conditioners, but they weren’t working. The windows faced the dirtiest area of the building. The breakfast bar stayed closed until we left at 9:30am.

This is a fully renovated, family-run guest house, and everything in the rooms and bathrooms was new and clean. It’s near the road, but inside the room it was very quiet thanks to the good-quality windows. The only drawback is that there’s no breakfast at all. The host should address that in the future. Google Drive messed up the destination, so enter the hotel address as "Via Bolzano 19, Garni San Paolo".

The town is close by, and it’s adorable, with some great restaurants. The rooms have been renovated nicely, though we had no hot water, limited internet, and a lot of road noise.

The rooms were clean and pleasant, though there’s no elevator.
