A quiet little gem surrounded by nature, with a pool. The decor is beautiful and very tasteful, and the service was excellent and friendly. Everyone speaks English, French and Italian. Breakfast was continental, with a buffet plus table service for any coffee and eggs, including scrambled eggs. Couldn't ask for better. We'll definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay, with lovely scenery, a beautiful pool, great staff and a good selection at the bar. The bed was quite firm, which suited us, though it might be too hard for some. Staff mentioned that the beds vary from room to room. We'll definitely return.

The food at the restaurant was incredible, my stomach may need a month to recover! Apricale and the nearby medieval villages are full of charm, with cliffside lanes and grotto mazes that make for adventurous wandering and getting lost. The family-run hotel sits high on a gorgeous mountain peak above Nervia, and its restaurant is only a five-minute walk away. The hospitality was warm, and so much care had gone into the design and quality. I was very happy there and hope to return soon. Thank you, Aldo! The area's narrow, winding, steep cliffside roads and scarce parking may be exciting for native European drivers, but I think they'd be extremely challenging for Americans.

There are plenty of outdoor places to sit, whether you want sun or shade, and of course there's the pool. The hotel keeps everything to a very high standard, adding new facilities over time. It's a special place that seems to improve every year. Check the hotel website and book direct.
