Casa Charlie

We only stayed one night, but really enjoyed this modern, clean apartment. It has good amenities, private parking, and a lovely outdoor area, and it was easy to stay here with our dog. The owner speaks only Italian, though Google Translate made communication manageable. The pool water looked a little murky, which might bother people hoping to swim. We were there too briefly to use it, so it was only a minor issue for us.

Everything was ready when I arrived, just ten minutes after booking on Booking.com at 6:00 PM. I only stayed one night, but I think I'll come back. The room was clean and well-equipped, with a new bathroom, a huge shower, hair dryer, mini bar and coffee machine, and the welcome was good. For the price, it's very good value. A few small things could be better: the glass door lets in morning light, the entrance gate is hard to open, especially in rain, and the bed was a bit uncomfortable.

The outdoor pool was a real treat on hot days, and the owners did everything they could to make the stay pleasant. The B&B is impeccably clean, with new furnishings, and wonderfully quiet. It's also only a few minutes by car from Arcisate station, with good access to Switzerland, and from Varese. Very well maintained, and highly recommended. 👍

I was there on my own, but the apartment could easily fit a family of four or a group of friends. The kitchen and bathroom have all the amenities, and the apartment is spacious, new, and impeccably clean. Mirko, the owner, was very kind and helpful. A great option around Arcisate and Varese.
