I had the dates wrong on my booking, and the staff were really helpful about changing them. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and comfortable, and the hotel sits just outside Artena old town. Breakfast is a good continental spread, with the excellent coffee you expect in Italy. There’s a restaurant for dinner, or you can try places nearby. My only complaint is that the rooms could be better soundproofed. I’d happily recommend it.

The setting and surrounding area deserve five stars, though I’d give the hotel four. There’s beautiful scenery and the old mountain town of Artena to explore. You can get a car transfer from Colleferro, since getting around without a car would otherwise be difficult. Walking to town and back is a long trip, about 8 km if you avoid the dangerous Via Latina. The hotel restaurant and food around the area were great.

Clean, new, and very good value. Breakfast is included, and the coffee is great. Dinner was pretty good too, with very reasonable prices. I’d recommend this place to business travelers or anyone on vacation who wants to explore nearby.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, but breakfast let things down a little. Some items were dry, especially the croissants and crostata. At this price, I expected a bit better.

Breakfast was good and perfectly acceptable for the price, though it was just toast, with no bread or buns. The bed felt quite hard to me. Still, it’s a great hotel for the money.
