The garden of olive trees is such a peaceful setting, with a stunning view. It’s only about a 15-minute walk to the Convent of Saint Francis and Assisi’s historic center, too. This was my third visit, and I’ve loved every stay. Endro always looks after each guest, and the rooms are cozy and clean. Breakfast feels like being at home with people you love, with freshly baked cakes, cheese, fresh bread, and everything you could want. If you’re visiting ASSISI and the nearby cities, La Piaggia is a lovely place to stay.

I spent two days exploring Assisi and unwinding at La Piaggia. It’s a comfortable, very clean room with a hot shower, electric kettle, and a lovely valley view. The hosts were great, breakfast was good, and the cappuccino was perfect. I could park my motorcycle safely in the large lot behind the house, and San Francesco Door is just a 600m walk away. Grazie!

The owner suggested a great place for lunch, and breakfast had plenty of choice. The apple cake was incredible. It’s a lovely, quiet spot with lots of parking if you’re driving. Cross the road and you can walk up to town. The road is steep, but manageable.

We left the car at the agriturismo and spent the day exploring Assisi on foot, without worrying about parking. The walk into the city is long and uphill. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was tasty and filling. It’s conveniently located for visiting Assisi, and they can give you a map if you ask. We’d recommend staying here.
