The beds were a serious problem, with exposed springs, mattresses of wildly varying quality, and a broken bed frame. The apartment in via zolezzi, Marina di Massa, was also dirty and the kitchen was barely equipped. We'd asked in advance what it had, yet there wasn't even a frying pan for a place that could sleep seven. It was on a busy road with cars, scooters, and ape cars passing at all hours. With no air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open, which badly disrupted our sleep. An experience I'd rather forget.

The apartment itself is next to the building, which was the one good point. The agency was nearly absent when it came to reception. I reported the bathroom drain, broken shutter, and washing machine problems promptly, but got no response or technical help.

We rented a shamefully furnished apartment on Via delle Pinete in Marina di Massa, at the top of an old, dirty building in a busy area. Ambulances were leaving from just a few metres away at all hours. Since there was no air conditioning, we had to keep the windows open and couldn't sleep at night. The photos they post show apartments from decades ago, and we ended up with a dirty, poorly maintained home. Sacconi Case Milano was complicit in all this. Not recommended.

Someone coming on holiday should get a bit more cooperation. I've used agencies several times, and I'm 65, but this was the worst. The apartment hadn't been cleaned properly. The plates, glasses, pots and other things in one kitchen cupboard were especially dirty, and it smelled bad. I don't know who cleaned it or when. The bedspreads hadn't been cleaned either, the shutters didn't work, and there was plenty more. I don't think I'll use this agency again.
