La Casetta Di Anna

The Casetta is cozy and welcoming, and Angelo and Anna are exceptionally attentive hosts. They have several places to stay, each lovingly decorated by the two artists. Anna brought a delicious tart and excellent croissants for breakfast. Highly recommended.

Angelo and Anna's warm welcome and the croissants they brought each morning made our stay especially memorable. The "master" unit worked perfectly for our family, with spotless rooms, plenty of kitchen utensils and small appliances, and all the everyday comforts we needed. Its classic finish comes from a careful renovation. It's part of a charming complex in the center of Possidente, and the Potenza-Melfi SS exit makes it easy to reach Avigliano, Filiano, Lagopesole, and Pietragalla. We used the area for relaxing, excursions, and food and wine exploring. Within about 20 minutes by car, there are local specialties such as Filiano Pecorino DOP, wine from the Palmenti di Pietragalla, Milvus craft beer, Avigliano taralli and biscuits, plus traditional soppressata and sausage at local shops. The place has an authentic Lucanian feel, and I recommend it for couples or families exploring the outdoors, culture, and religious routes around the Vitalba and Vulture-Melfese valleys, Potenza, Lagopesole, and Avigliano.

We had a really nice stay. Mr. Angelo and Mrs. Anna were so kind to us.
