The ski depot is tiny, with no proper space to put on ski boots, and the kitchen could use cups for tea, bowls, a better pan, a sponge, and a few dishwasher tablets. There are no bins for sorting waste either. The beds were the biggest problem for us: the mattresses and pillows were so bad that sleeping was very difficult, if not impossible. The house and furniture look nice, but there are a lot of shortcomings once you look closer. Very poor value for the price.

We had a great base for skiing, with the slopes and San Cassiano just a few minutes away by car. The village has a supermarket, shops, a pharmacy, and plenty of places to eat. Our family of six found the Ciasa Murin Apartment spacious, spotless, and supplied with everything we needed. The Dolomites were always in view from the windows, a lovely backdrop you don't get in many other apartments nearby. Five stars, definitely recommended.

The lifts are an easy walk away, and the owners greeted us warmly and kindly. Still, I can't recommend apartment no. 3 in Casa Freina. The oven didn't work, there was no tablecloth or dish soap, and the bed only had a mattress protector, no sheet. There were just a few things to cook with, including a wooden ladle that was in poor condition. For what we got, the price was too high.
