Frara Residence Apartments

A perfect base for a ski trip.

We keep returning, and the apartment is still lovely and spotless. It has all the essentials, comfy beds, and a good bathroom. The gondola and ski lockers are only about a 150-meter walk away.

There’s a washing machine in the ski room, along with ski lockers and heated boot holders. The apartment itself is really nice and has everything, including a dishwasher.

The Frara apartment was clean, roomy, and nicely furnished in a mountain style. We visited over the Immaculate Conception long weekend to ski Alta Badia’s wonderful slopes. The large terrace looked out over central San Cassiano and the Dolomites, though winter was too cold to enjoy it much. For skiing, the location is hard to beat: there’s storage on the ground floor and the Piz Sorega gondola is about 100 meters away. Covered parking 350 meters away was included in the price, and the value was good. Everyone was helpful and kind, from the hotel staff at Mezdì di Colfosco, who answered questions by email or phone, to the woman who welcomed us at the property. We’d gladly recommend it.
