The staff were super friendly, and there’s free parking. Breakfast was good, with meats, cheeses, yogurt, fresh warm breads, croissants and pretzels, plus good coffee and freshly squeezed juice. There wasn’t much hot food beyond a boiled egg. The rooms are clean but small, with no fridge or kettle, which I really missed on cold evenings when I wanted tea. Still, the balcony view of the Alps turning orange at sunset was wonderful. A simple, clean two-star hotel.

We could ski down an easy run to get back, and the main lift was only about 50 m away on skis. The hotel also gave us good access to the Sella Ronda, with ski rental next door. It’s family-run, with friendly, helpful staff, a good ski and boot room, parking right at the door, and a great breakfast. They even cleared the snow off my car. Highly recommended.

Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty to choose from and coffee made to your preference. We brought our dog, which was no problem, though there was an extra charge as advertised. The hotel is handy for hikes and places to visit, including Cinque Torri, about a 20-minute drive to the trailhead parking. There’s also a cable car nearby, along with trails up to a hill with lovely views.

The balcony looks out over really scenic surroundings, and the hotel is very close to the lift. The staff were friendly too. A really nice place, highly recommended.
