Pensione La Müda

Newly built and kept very clean, this place feels welcoming from the moment you arrive. The staff are all friendly and polite, and they made us feel at home. We loved the delicious, varied food. A real gem, and we’d definitely recommend it.

The dinners at La Muda were incredible, gourmet meals beautifully presented night after night, desserts included. Credit to both the chef and pastry chef. Staff were warm and professional, and I’d give the hotel five stars for value compared with its quality. We really enjoyed staying in Pedraces, a great spot in Badia with the Santa Croce mountains right there. We’ve skied in Alta Badia more than a dozen times, and La Muda stands out. La Crusc is only a few steps away, and the spacious, clean rooms feel inviting. The design is modern and beautiful while keeping the Ladin tradition.

For a recently renovated hotel charging 400 euros and more per night, I expected the service you’d associate with four stars. When I asked the man at the counter to check the TV remote, he said it must work because previous guests had used it. That was disappointing. There were also issues with the electric charger that, in my opinion, weren’t handled properly and need more attention.

Good location close to Badia centre and the main road, but still quiet, with the chairlift nearby. The rooms were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the cuisine excellent.
