The hospitality was excellent, and the rooms are a decent size. There’s a small table in the room, so the varied breakfast can be eaten there. The bathroom has a shower. My one complaint is that the rooms don’t have independent heating, so the temperature depends on the manager’s control.

There’s no parking, unfortunately. The place is tucked into Bagolino’s old town, where a very nice young woman showed us our room. There are two rooms, and breakfast is made and served in the room, a tasty sweet spread with jam and Nutella.

Bagolino is such a lovely little village, almost like a fairy tale, with women washing clothes at the fountains and washhouses and children holding a flea market in the stone lanes. Lake Idro is nearby, with ways to relax and have fun for all kinds of tastes. The B&B itself is cozy and very nice, the owners are kind, and the food at their trattoria next door is divine.

We came back for a second visit a couple of days ago and found the same lovely, homely atmosphere as before. The owner was very kind again. Definitely recommend it.

We only stayed one night, sadly. The cleanliness, service, and breakfast were all stellar, and the owners were helpful and friendly. We had a really great stay and will be back very soon.
