Getting into the city was a real hassle. Bus 892 is the only link from the hotel to the center, and its route and timetable seem to shift from day to day. We could have been left waiting over two hours. There also wasn’t a shared place for our two couples to sit and chat. Staff expected us to buy something if we used the available space, and would quickly ask us to leave otherwise, so we were left with our own rooms. The hotel service was lackluster.

I spent four nights here. The nearest bus stop is only 100 m away, which made getting to central Rome and the historic district much easier. It’s also conveniently close to the convention centre.

Getting into the city was the one drawback. Bus 892 is the only connection to the center, and its route and times can change from one day to the next, leaving you waiting more than two hours. At the hotel, though, the rooms were clean and spacious, and breakfast was excellent, with lots of pastries, meat products, salads, fruit, and more.

The staff were friendly, check-in went smoothly, and the beds were cozy. We also liked the clean rooms and satisfying breakfast. It’s a welcoming place in a good spot near the main attractions, and felt like good value.

The location made getting to Rome difficult, and in summer the air conditioning didn’t work even with temperatures at 34 degrees C. I called the front desk at night for extra pillows to support my neck, only to find out the hotel didn’t have any. So much for hospitality. It looked promising at first, but I wouldn’t stay here again. I’d choose a named brand like BB or Holiday Inn.
