B City Hotel

Our room stayed quiet even though the hotel is near a busy street, and the waterfront is quite close. The staff were so helpful and friendly: I left my Bluetooth headphones behind, and they sent them to me right away. Breakfast was exceptional, with a huge selection, better than I can remember from other hotels.

The view isn’t the best, but who comes to enjoy the lake through a window? We’d absolutely recommend B City Hotel for a Lake Garda stay. The price was great, the rooms were very clean, breakfast was phenomenal, and the staff made us feel welcome. Sandro was especially friendly and helpful.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We had a change of plans for an unforeseen reason and asked several days ahead to shift our reservation by one day, since we wouldn’t arrive for the first night. The hotel said it was fully booked and couldn’t make the change, and told both me and booking.com that the reservation couldn’t be modified at all. Yet those requested nights were still available to book on the hotel’s website. We stayed for part of the booking and paid the full amount, including the unused night. After we left, the hotel marked us as “cancelled” on Booking.com, where we had booked, apparently to prevent a negative review. That felt very dishonest and sneaky. There are much better places in Bordolino that treat guests better for similar money. The room was also dated, the shower tray filled up quickly, the pillows felt like rocks, and the windows faced a busy main road.

The price felt fair for what we got. Our room was cozy, clean, recently renovated, and convenient, and breakfast included both continental and Italian options. It was amazing.
