Maxime B&b

The owner was extremely kind, helpful, and full of suggestions for places to visit. There are plenty of beautiful ones nearby. The B&B is on the first floor of a quiet building, with uncovered parking inside the gates, and it’s well placed for the sandy beach and sea. The bus to the center of Bari Vecchia is excellent, and a must. Our room was small but clean and well furnished, with a new, functional bathroom. It would suit two couples who know each other or a family with teenagers. Breakfast was excellent quality, though the arrangements could be better. We had a wonderful week, relaxing and visiting famous places in our beautiful Italy. Greetings from the people of Belluno!

The coffee was undrinkable, and breakfast was just a voucher for a croissant at a bakery 500 meters away. The nearest beach costs 25e/day, so this really isn’t what you want. The room itself is small, with turn-of-the-millennium furniture, in an old, unattractive building. The price doesn’t fit the quality, and there are definitely nicer places nearby for less. We only stayed one night out of necessity after our other accommodation failed, and were very happy to move there. I’d look elsewhere.

Marco’s hospitality and willingness to help really stood out, as did the high-quality modern furnishings. It’s a quiet location that’s still very easy to get to. I’d happily come back!
