Villa Sofia

The owner was very hospitable, and the apartment had everything you'd expect at home. The washing machine came in handy. The pool was clean and a good size, with ample parking behind a remote-controlled gate and a private 3 kWh charging station at a good rate. It's in a quiet suburb of Baveno, around a 25-minute walk to the center. The Wi-Fi was a minor downside since it worked very inconsistently, though I'm sure this will be resolved soon.

We spent the long weekend from April 25th to 28th here, and everything was perfect. The apartment was modern, bright, and spotlessly clean, with a big terrace looking over the lake. We slept soundly. The kitchen had all the comforts, and there was private parking, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. The owners were kind and communication was great. One lovely little touch was the picnic basket with food for lunch. I'd give it 10 stars if I could. Go to Villa Sofia with your eyes closed. Thanks, and see you on our next vacation. 🤗🤩

The apartment is beautiful, perfectly equipped, and the host is very attentive, texting each day to see if everything was alright or if we needed anything. The reviews are right, it's a great place. I gave it 4 stars because we could hear the neighbors quite loudly through the poor soundproofing, even though they weren't especially noisy. It's also hard to get around without a car, since there are no public transport options or shops nearby. Despite those two issues, it's an ideal base for exploring the lake.

This was our second stay, and the kids loved the small pool for cooling off. The outdoor area is beautiful and well kept, shared with the other guests, and the hosts are very attentive. The apartment is modern and has everything, including a microwave and dishwasher. The air conditioning in one room was broken, leaving no ventilation, but the hosts quickly brought a replacement mobile unit. We'll be back. Molto bene.
