Casa San Giacomo

The host was lovely and ready to help with anything. Just keep in mind that both sofas are in one room. There’s a public beach very close by, and downtown Bellagio is about 25-30 minutes away. A beautiful experience.

The flat was clean, nicely presented, and stocked with almost everything for a short visit. It’s around a 15-minute walk from the main boat stops. Our hosts were friendly when they welcomed us and easy to reach during the stay for tips or advice. We had a great time and would come back.

San Giovanni felt like a lovely, romantic corner of Bellagio, with a quiet, intimate feel. Its little old-town area has narrow pedestrian paths, and there’s a public pebble beach near the apartment. We also found two supermarkets close by and an excellent local dairy selling milk, cheese, butter, yoghurt, salami, bread and more. The apartment itself was clean, convenient, and fully equipped for cooking, washing, and relaxing. We arrived at Bellagio harbor late in the evening with lots of luggage and prams, and our hosts picked us up by car and drove us from the centre to San Giacomo. They explained everything about the apartment and neighborhood. They clearly love Lake of Como and the local history. We spent four unforgettable days there.

We especially enjoyed being able to use the bikes, and Giulia gave us a very hospitable welcome. Casa San Giacamo is conveniently located and excellent value for money. We’d definitely book again.
