The steep, narrow roads and bends make getting here tricky, and it isn't especially close to Bellano's center, shops, or restaurants. Inside, the standard may feel a bit below what some guests expect for the price, and there's less service than at a hotel, with no 24-hour reception or daily hotel services. That said, Bellavista Bellano is an apartment in Bellano, Lombardy, on Lake Como, with a balcony, garden, and free private parking. It has a kitchen with basic equipment, including a fridge, oven, stove, and microwave, plus a living and dining area, TV, free Wi-Fi, and supplied bed linen and towels. The garden or lake views and quiet, private feel are real draws. If you're after an independent apartment where you can cook and enjoy the views, it may suit you, and the value can make sense for what it is. I'd look elsewhere if easy access, being close to places to eat, or hotel services are important. Guest ratings are fairly average, around 7/10 on some sites.

I stayed for several days with my family. The owner was friendly, the directions were clear, and the views are beautiful. The drive in is the one challenge, though a confident driver should manage it. I'd recommend the place.

The jacuzzi was a highlight. Sitting there, you can look out over the village and lake, and the height of the place also means real peace and quiet. The garden has a stunning view. Getting there takes confidence behind the wheel. The road is very steep and narrow, with hairpins tight enough that some need a second turn. The apartment itself was dusty, and the kitchen wasn't laid out very well. The bathroom and bedroom were spacious and clean, though, and the bed was large with a good mattress. There was a welcome package when we arrived. The directions were clearly organized and the office communicated excellently. Just be aware that you can't park at the apartment when the neighbors are there.
