The apartment was spotless, fresh, and carefully prepared, with clean towels and bed linen. The terrace view is absolutely beautiful. We had a memorable stay, and Elena and Massimo made it even more special. Getting there was a real struggle because of the train strike. Elena and Massimo kept in touch the whole time and did everything they could to help. With the trains not running that day, Massimo even picked us up at the station and drove us to Varenna. Thanks to him, we could still make the tours and villa visits we’d already booked.

The accommodation was clean, spacious, and well equipped. It’s close to the station, and the city center and pier are within a reasonable distance, which made it easy to get around and explore. But the terrace view is what stayed with us. We were only a few meters from the water, looking out at the mountains and sailboats at anchor. It was lovely in the sun, and even the storm was something to watch. Coffee with that view was a great way to start the day, and a swim after sightseeing was a refreshing finish. Our hosts were friendly, pleasant, and accommodating throughout our stay and even afterward. They were always happy to help or share advice, and communicating in English was easy. I’d recommend staying here to enjoy the lake and the area around it.

Very clean and peaceful, with a splendid lake view that feels priceless. There’s access to the lake from the public beach below the apartment. It’s ideal for two people who want a quiet couple of nights and aren’t looking for anything demanding.

Elena and her husband are such lovely people, and we’re already planning to return next year. The terrace is cozy, with a breathtaking view, and there’s direct access to the lake. Restaurants and pizzerias are all within walking distance. The apartment had everything we wanted for a vacation.
