The breakfast information was vague. There was no fruit, vegetables or yogurt, just basic white toast, generic cheese and ham, boiled eggs, and scrambled eggs with ham and cheese. The cappuccino and fresh croissant were quite good, though. I'd call breakfast acceptable for a night or two, but not for a longer stay. The bathroom was tiny, around 1.5 sq.m. for the sink, shower, toilet and bidet, and it was in poor condition and needed major renovation. WiFi reached very few areas, and getting the staff to provide access was difficult. The listing on @booking.com on 01Aug2021 said free guest parking was available, but that was FALSE, there was no guest parking. When I raised these issues, staff weren't willing to offer a quick improvement, and the conversation was unpleasant. They even blamed booking.com for the incorrect information and wouldn't accept responsibility themselves.

We ended up at this cheap hotel in Riccione because the tournament organizers put us there. It was a dreadful place, and I wouldn't go back for anything.

The building could use some maintenance, and it's clearly not new, but it didn't spoil our holiday. We felt at home with the kind owners and staff, who were always polite and ready to help with requests. The rooms were kept clean, and the home-style food was very good. We had a lovely family holiday at Hotel Ornella, with quality that felt well worth the price. I'll be back next year.

We were welcomed into a really warm, family-like atmosphere. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the food was excellent. Thanks to Martina and the whole staff for such a positive stay.
