Agriturismo Modolo

We arrived expecting a pet-friendly stay, but only then learned that there was just one room for guests with pets, and it was already taken. Nobody had told us this beforehand. We were also told there'd be an extra €20 per night for each dog. Despite that charge, the rules seemed unreasonable: the dogs couldn't eat or drink inside the apartment and had to do so outside the property, and they were expected to sleep in the bathtub. When we tried to get this clarified, the host was rude and unhelpful. We left immediately without staying. I don't think this place should be advertised as pet-friendly, and I'd advise pet owners to avoid it.

It felt more like being welcomed into a family home than staying at a hotel, with a real sense of calm and authenticity. Agriturismo Modolo sits peacefully in the countryside, yet nearby towns and natural sights are easy to reach. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and looked after, blending rustic character with modern convenience. Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming, shared their knowledge of local culture and traditions, and went out of their way to make me feel at home. The fresh, seasonal homemade meals were a real highlight. A relaxing and memorable stay.

The owners were there to greet us and did so much to help us settle in. The rooms were cozy and spotless, and the hospitality was second to none. It's a beautiful spot for a relaxing countryside stay. I'd recommend going and seeing it for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

Elisabetta and her family made me feel right at home. Their hospitality, along with the location and rooms, made the stay special.
