Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana

The location is nice, the rooms are a good size, and the poolside area was pleasant. Breakfast and service were good, as expected, and the staff were pleasant. One thing that didn’t fit the decor was the paper cups in the room. At this price, I’d expect proper glasses and cups.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and both the hotel and our room were nice. The shower was good, though the tub had an unusual shape. Our USB ports didn’t work, and no one told us about the visitor fee for downtown Venice. It felt like a tourist tax to bring in more money during busy visiting periods. Apart from that, no complaints.

A very pleasant stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast was amazing. The nearest bus station is about a 15-minute walk away, which could be a downside, but it’s fine if you’re driving or don’t mind walking a bit.

Some guests say breakfast could offer more variety, and that a few rooms are small. Still, Novotel Venezia Mestre Castellana seems a solid, comfortable choice in Venice, with helpful staff, modern rooms, comfortable beds, premium bedding, and pillow menus. It’s a four-star hotel near Porto Marghera, about 7 km from Venice, with convenient access to Mestre Station and Venice Airport. Facilities include a seasonal outdoor pool, gym, restaurant, bar, kids’ pool, playground, babysitting services, free Wi-Fi, and a business center with six equipped conference rooms. It looks suitable for families and business travelers alike.
