Rivamare

Getting around was easy, with the beach, bus stops, and the center of Lido nearby. The reception staff were lovely and helpful, and the place itself was cute. Our clean room had a really strong naphthalene smell that felt overwhelming, though opening the window helped. It was a bit noisy, maybe because of how buildings are constructed in Italy. Still, we had a nice stay and I'd recommend it.

The rooms looked a little dated, but they were spotless. Breakfast was a good continental spread, and they could cater for gluten free if you asked. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

Breakfast was disappointing. We went an hour before it ended, but nothing was being replenished, so we had to make do with what was left. The rooms were cramped and kept very hot, and opening a window for air meant bugs got in. The old fashioned door locks could also be tricky, and it was easy to get locked in and struggle with the door. Staff weren't very friendly from the start, so it wasn't a great stay.

The hotel has apparently been fully renovated, since the photos seem out of date. The elevator worked perfectly, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had an excellent selection. It's only a few meters from the beach, although there's some street noise.
