La Mansarda Suite

I paid when I arrived, then wanted to make coffee, but the cup didn't look clean enough to me. Later, when I pulled back the sheets to rest, I found quite a few hairs, not just one or two. I called the host and showed him. He said the sheets had been changed that morning and offered to change them again for 20 euros. I couldn't believe I'd have to pay to get the hairs off the bed. Another woman arrived and was supposedly kind, but first called me prejudiced, even though I'd paid as soon as I got there. Then she said, "she came from Naples to do the cleaning." I'm speechless. Luckily, they refunded our money. All they had to do was change the sheets when it was obvious. I feel sorry for whoever goes after me. Check the sheets!

The owner was available whenever we needed anything, and the outdoor terrace was nicely furnished and a real bonus. It's a great spot for couples, with an excellent location and a very comfortable bed. The room and bathroom are small, but clean and welcoming. I would have liked two bathroom shelves, one in the shower and one by the sink for toiletries, plus a towel hook.

I suggested this B&B to an eyeglass salesman, who was impressed by the room photos. The rooms were truly luxurious and stunning, though never flawless. The owner was knowledgeable and very helpful, always available by phone or in person. I-T-O-C-E-S ...

At 8:45 PM, this guy told us it wasn't time to check in, even though Booking.com said check-in was available until 9:30 PM and we'd tried to book there. Then he said that if we waited for him after 11 PM, he'd reserve us a room for €120, while the same website listed it for €72. Speechless. What a character.
