You’re right in the middle of Citta Alta Bergamo, with restaurants, shops and a supermarket just a few meters away. The apartment was spacious and clean, and walking on the heated floors felt so luxurious. Come to Bergamo for a truly authentic Italian experience.

Citta Alta was a wonderful place to stay, with little restaurants, cafes, shops and Italian specialties to browse. Once the day visitors leave in the evening, it feels like the old city is yours. We were glad we chose it over Milan. We spent six nights in Altana, apartment 4. The four of us had just enough room, and both the bed and couch were comfortable to sleep on. The apartment had everything we needed. Andrea was easy to communicate with by email and kindly answered all our questions. Thanks for hosting us, Andrea. We’ll be back!

Bergamo is a beautiful medieval Italian town north of Milan and near Lake Como. It’s very hilly, but well worth the effort to walk around.

We had a spectacular view across Bergamo’s rooftops from the duplex apartment. It was modern, beautifully renovated, and seemed ideal for a couple. The bed was super comfortable, and the shower was great. The owner’s service was outstanding, and the place felt just like home. We had breakfast in the apartment, using the coffee capsules they supplied for our whole stay. Panificio Tresoldi downstairs had delicious milk and pastries. We’d definitely come back. Bergamo Città Alta is beautiful.
