We had a spacious room with plenty of wardrobe space, tea and coffee, plus buns and baskets. The windows opened onto the back street, and there was a little balcony with a table and chairs facing a simple private courtyard. The location is just beyond the very centre, close to enough restaurants, cafes, and bars. It worked well for a few days, or even a week.

The price for a Saturday night in the old town was really good. Our room was spotless and nicely decorated, with enough space for two and a lovely shower. The place felt safe, quiet, and private despite its location. Giovanna provides an information pack so an awkward arrival time is no problem. The owners were fantastic, and I'd happily book again if I'm back in Bergamo.

Giovanna was such an attentive, personable host, unlike any owner I've met before. The breakfast is served at a café just a few steps away. I stayed three nights, and the B&B is right in the heart of Bergamo Citti Alta. The rooms are comfortable and furnished with care. It's a beautiful, really outstanding place, with love in all the little details. I recommend B&B San Lorenzo wholeheartedly.

We only just got home from our holiday and I already miss the place. The room was lovely and clean, and the beds were made each day. Claudia made a fantastic breakfast, with new guests joining every day, which I loved. Giovanna's hospitality and sightseeing tips were great, and the B&B's spot in the historic centre of the Citta Alta of Bérgamo made it worth five stars.

The friendly host serves a generous breakfast in the morning, with something to suit what you need to start the day. The rooms are cosy, tidy, and extremely clean. It's a charming B&B, and the location makes it even nicer, though that's far from its main feature.
