Scottis House Bergamo

The room and private bathroom were better than I expected. It's an easy walk to the train station and shopping streets, so I'd recommend it for a solo trip or a couple.

The location worked really well for getting around. It's near the station and main street, close to restaurants, and just a short walk from buses to the airport and Città Alta. The back road kept it quiet. Our room was on the ground floor. The spacious white room had a double bed and a single bed that could also serve as a sofa, plus a desk, drawers, and a wardrobe. The bed was clean and extremely comfortable after travelling, and the bathroom was big with a fantastic rain shower. There was also a small upright fan that should help in summer. The apartment is split into several rooms, with shared access to a large kitchen and living room. Breakfast was self-service, with coffee, some jams, and the option to cook whatever you like. Before we arrived, the owner stayed in touch and was very helpful right through check-in. Check-out was straightforward, though I'd have liked a quicker text reply when I asked about leaving my bag for a few hours. A few lights didn't work properly, and the blind cord was broken. Those small repairs aside, it was relaxing and good value for the price. I'm happy to give it five stars and recommend it if you're in Bergamo.

The host went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and looked after everything we needed. Each morning we were welcomed with a generous breakfast of desserts and freshly made chocolate cake. The rooms were unusually spacious, and ours had a luxury spa bath. A sauna is also available for an extra charge.

Andrea and the staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived, with impeccable, welcoming service. Scotti's House Bergamo is conveniently placed near the train station and in the heart of Bergamo. Both the room and kitchen were spotless. A great combination of comfort, cleanliness, and hospitality.
