Podere Le Mezzelune

Margherita's service was excellent, and she made us feel at home at Le Mezzelune. Our room had a good-sized terrace overlooking the garden and Tuscan landscape. The rest of the house feels distinctive and peaceful, with a big, comfortable sofa where you can read, and wonderful art books all around. It's a stylish countryside hideaway, yet only a few minutes from the coast.

As an Italian living abroad, I often miss the real richness of Italian beauty and culture. Le Mezzelune in Tuscany brings those things back to mind, and it's a place I find myself thinking about often. For me, it's an elegant sanctuary where simplicity, beauty, and authenticity help me feel restored and connected again. It's a rare experience, and whenever I can, I happily recommend it to my international friends as a place they should visit.

My god, why go anywhere else? This place is heaven. Our room, number 2, was great, and so were the gardens, fields, pool, view, food, and especially the people. Matteo runs a tight ship, and you can tell. The region has everything, the ocean, the beauty, and Super Tuscan wines. Honestly, anything with Super Tuscan is great. We'll be back sooner rather than later. Enjoy!

We spent 10 days at Podere le Mezzelune, visiting from New York, and we're already talking about coming back. The quiet countryside around Bolgheri is beautiful, and the property is kept in wonderful shape, with that almost movie-like feel. The staff made us feel at home from the start. We'd asked in advance for a particular breakfast, and they happily put together a custom menu. The chef used fresh ingredients and served it each morning in the garden. Our room was clean and comfortable, with soft linens, housekeeping, laundry, and phone chargers. Even the handmade bathroom soap was lovely. It was a thoughtful, special stay, and a perfect place to rest and enjoy Tuscany. We'd love to return.
