Almarossa

We stayed at Almarossa twice recently, for just under two weeks altogether, and I’ll definitely come back. The extra room space was fantastic and great value. Both times, our room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable for two adults and a teenager. The upper floor rooms feel like small apartments. It’s on a fairly busy main Street, so light sleepers might want to ask for a room facing inward. Closed windows and shutters cut down the noise. The location is great, close to the university and within walking distance of the historic centre one way and the train station the other.

We’re heading home today, so I’m writing this in a hurry, but we give Almarossa our highest recommendation. The staff are professional and always smiling, which suggests a good working environment, and that’s nice to see. The Almarossa concept is well thought out, with lots of small, clever touches that make staying here simple and pleasant. Kind regards, Christian and Mette.

Clarissa and the rest of the team were joyful to deal with, patient, and very helpful. The room and facilities were exceptionally clean and well appointed, and the location was perfect for exploring the city’s history and cuisine. The property and staff were amazing. Highly recommend!

Lia was wonderful to deal with and full of suggestions on where to eat and what to see. This was the first stop on our European trip in May 2025, and we weren’t disappointed. Our room was lovely, and the accommodation was very central to town. I’d highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Bologna.
