B&B Corticella 24

The owner was very nice and helpful, and the rooms were clean, big, and had everything we needed. The station and city centre are walkable, with shops and bars nearby. You can hear through the walls a bit, but that’s nothing new in Italy. Very good value for the money :)

Breakfast was lovely, with each guest getting one card per night for a pastry and a hot drink at either of two cafes next door. We were leaving at 5am on our last day, so Biagio contacted the cafe and let my partner and me use all the remaining cards at once for a big breakfast. He also did our laundry and hung everything up for free when we asked. Such a great host. He welcomed us warmly, explained a lot about the area, and left bottled water and snacks in the nice room, which had a spacious shower. The location is really good, with several nice restaurants nearby and a large shop down the road across the street. I’d absolutely recommend staying here in Bologna. If you need the buses, you can tap your debit card when you get on, so there’s no need to buy tickets.

We really liked that breakfast was available downstairs at the caffee and that we could leave our luggages there. The room was clear, and there was water and cookies waiting when we arrived. A great place for a holiday stay, and it definitely deserves more reviews!

Breakfast is a croissant and an espresso downstairs at the bakery (paticeria). The owner was kind and helpful, and the room was very clean and comfortable. It’s conveniently located near the train station and bus stops, with clean towels and bedding. The shower was very good, and there was air conditioning too.
