The deluxe studio was comfortable, and the room's tourist information and restaurant tips were useful. It's in a lovely old apartment building, with a small, old-fashioned lift that works well. The location is fantastic, just moments from Piazza Maggiore and surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops. We were disappointed, though, by how poorly our air conditioning issue was handled. We reported it on Saturday night, but communication with both the person who checked us in and the host was poor. The host came on Monday morning and fixed it by resetting the remote, a two-minute job we could have done ourselves if someone had explained how. It was okay in late September, but would have been a big problem in summer.

The location is exceptionally good, and the place could suit a family with children. We were four adults, though, and two of us ended up sleeping in the kitchen. Getting to the toilet from there meant walking through the other guests' room, which we hadn't realized when we checked in. A recycling point sits right by the entrance, three floors below. It seemed like nearby restaurants dumped bottles there all night, then a garbage truck collected them from 6 to 7 a.m. Even Sunday wasn't quiet.

I had a pleasant, safe stay, with all the amenities I needed. Mr. Paolo provided excellent service. The only thing is, they are very formal when it's time to leave.

The location couldn't be better, and the service was good up until we got into the apartment. After that, they stopped replying. The apartment for three wasn't great: one bedroom had a double bed and ensuite bathroom, which was fine, but the other two very small beds were in the kitchen and living room. One sagged and had a pile of books underneath holding it up. The sink leaked and soaked your feet whenever you used it. To get to the bathroom, you had to pass through the main bedroom.
