Hotel Millenn

I was recommended this place for a work trip, but it’s well below average. I’d normally avoid somewhere with a 3.x rating. There wasn’t much positive to say: at least nobody broke into my room, the breakfast was okay, and the breakfast staff were friendly. I paid 199 euros for one night, which was far too much. The bathroom paint was peeling, and the bed was very uncomfortable. The area felt sketchy, with a lot of outside noise until midnight. The TV looked like it came from a 1999 computer, and the hallways and stairwells were dingy. They also insisted that I pay at check-in, which is very unusual in my experience as someone who travels a lot.

A good option for travelling on a budget. The location is very central and easy to get to from the airport, and the rooms are really nice with pretty much everything you need.

The reception staff were very helpful, and Bounce luggage storage was great. Superb.

The staff were super friendly with us, and the location is excellent, less than a five-minute walk from the station. Breakfast was okay, nothing special, but the coffee was very good. The rooms need a lot of work. The beds are old and sagging, the furniture is in poor repair, the bathroom blinds were shot, and the shower stalls were rusty and needed attention. I doubt these problems are unknown. In one of our rooms, the thermostat didn’t work at all, and there’s no double lock on the inside of the room door. It wasn’t the worst place we’ve stayed, but Bologna is getting expensive.
