Steam House - Room & Breakfast

I absolutely recommend this lovely, unusual hotel in the middle of Bologna. It's ideally located for food and the city's best sights. Valentina was incredibly helpful, with excellent restaurant suggestions and help sorting out our travel logistics. Thank you so much!

At first I wondered if I'd picked the wrong place. Outside, it looked scruffy, with lots of graffiti and some dodgy-looking spots. But the area made more sense at night, when most places were open and the local bars and restaurants were really nice. It's close to the university, with plenty of students around. The hotel itself has five rooms, and we stayed in a suite. It was spacious and very clean. Breakfast was prepacked cookies and a ham and cheese platter in the fridge. The coffee machine was a good idea, even if it didn't work properly. We managed to get a cup out of it anyway :))))) Valentina at reception was a sweetheart and really helpful. I'll definitely come back. #hiddengem #studentlife #coffeelovers #valentinarocks

Valentina was a terrific host and communication was excellent. The room was huge, clean, and tidy, and breakfast was delicious. It’s a lovely place in a wonderful location. I’d happily stay again.

The room was quiet even with plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby, and the train station and city center were both close. We loved the stay at steam house b&b: the huge room was well equipped and beautifully designed. Staff were very helpful and let us leave our luggage after checkout. Well worth the price, I recommend it.
