UNA Hotels Bologna Centro

That complimentary lobby snack area was a nice touch, with good coffee and pear juice, and they took our luggage without any fuss. Breakfast was better than we expected, with made-to-order barista coffee, lots of Italian-style sweets, plus proper savory choices like eggs and cheese. Our executive room upgrade was free, and the room was roomy, spotless, and warm, which mattered in winter. The location right by Bologna Centrale worked perfectly for trains and a short visit, and checkout at noon made for an easy morning. We paid €120 for two adults and a child on December 26 during the holiday rush. A steal.

The station made day trips from Bologna easy, and we were happy with both the room and the wide breakfast selection. We stayed four nights, January 28 to February 1. There wasn't an electric kettle in the room at first, but reception arranged one after we asked. We'd definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was delicious, but the Wi-Fi barely worked and that caused a problem. I was also surprised when the front desk refused to give me a lodging certificate, which only needed the guest's name, date, and the hotel's signature. I've stayed at hotels all over the world, and this was the first time one had denied me that certificate.

We had a lovely breakfast to get the day going, and the main sights were within walking distance. Our room was large and the staff were friendly. We'd come back, and I'd recommend the hotel without hesitation.
