The town is small but worth a visit, and the B&B is comfortable with a friendly owner. It’s just a minute from the sea, near a little harbor and a small beach. The downside is hearing the train at night, and you can’t see the sea from the room.

We were about 10 minutes from the old town, with some excellent local restaurants as well as a few higher-end places nearby. The port was close too. Our clean room had its own veranda overlooking the gardens and hills, though not the sea. Breakfast was included in the price, and the drinks and water were chilled in the room’s own fridge at no extra charge. I’d stay here again.

The short walk to the city center follows the sea or the road. Andrea and Riccardo were very welcoming, and breakfast was excellent: scrambled eggs, freshly sliced ham, cheese, cappuccino, toast, bread, juice, jam, butter, yogurt, and a warm croissant. The apartment itself was impeccable, recently renovated with lovely materials and quality bedding. Trains do pass nearby, but not often, and none at night. I’d happily recommend the place. I don’t understand the reviews complaining about the welcome or breakfast. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.
