The Lucciola Hotel is in a quiet neighbourhood, with shops and the seafront an easy walk away. Breakfast was included, plentiful, and varied, with plenty of good coffee. It's a family-run place with people who really try to make your stay pleasant. Our room was a little worn, but clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and pillows. It also had a fridge, a lockable safe, and a large window opening onto a terrace. I highly recommend it.

We'd confirmed our room at Hotel Lucciola by phone well ahead of our stay, after booking months in advance. Then, while we were overseas and just one day before arrival, they refunded us and said they'd overbooked. There was no warning or phone call, just a last-minute cancellation that left us without somewhere to stay. It was incredibly inconsiderate and unprofessional. They showed no regard for our confirmed booking or the disruption this caused. I wouldn't recommend staying here.

The rooms were clean, and we had a cute balcony. It was easy to walk everywhere. We had a wonderful stay and would happily come back anytime.

Pensione Lucciola is a lovely place to stay in Bordighera. It's family-run and personal, with a great breakfast. Cafés, restaurants, and the seafront are just a few minutes' walk away.

Such caring, old-fashioned service at a classic family hotel. Thanks for the soft pillows! I'll definitely come back.
