Residenza Villa Genua

The grounds are a must-see, with all the olive trees and the produce they grow. The villa is beautiful, with large rooms decorated in lovely taste. Our hosts were fantastic, friendly, and accommodating. We had the best time and will definitely come back!

The view across the Bordiguera valley is amazing, and Villa Genua is such a peaceful place. Ab, Shirley, Guy and Gim have done incredible work transforming the house and gardens. They looked after us with a big smile throughout our restful stay. Thanks so much!

Breakfast was fresh, delicious, and served with care. The old building and its huge grounds have been restored with love for nature and people, and everything fits together beautifully. At Villa Genua, Shirley and Guy did everything they could to make our trip through North Italy joyful. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, spotless, and had everything we needed. Our suite was comfortable, with a lovely balcony, and we slept so well in the comfy beds and pillows. The breakfast was incredibly complete, with tasty juices, teas, olive oil, and homemade jam made from ingredients grown on the property. The Villa’s charm and views make you want to stay forever, and we loved all the thoughtful details. The Marrewijk family, Ab, Shirley, Guy and Kim, welcomed us like family and made us feel at home. We’re so grateful for their warmth and will definitely be back soon!
